Update: Missing Redmond teen found safe

REDMOND, Ore. (KTVZ) — The Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office asked for the public’s help late Thursday in locating a missing 13-year-old girl last seen near the Tetherow Butte area in northwest Redmond.

The agency later reported the girl was found safe and thanked the community for its help in finding her.

She was last seen at her home and is unfamiliar with the area, officials said earlier. She may be disoriented or lost.

Anyone who saw the girl or had information about her whereabouts is urged to call dispatch at (541) 693-6911 immediately.
